The hospital in Vava'u is that of a developing country
and is is not as well equipped as a hospital in
overseas. Any treatment/consultation has to
be paid in cash.

Dr. Alfredo Carafa, who operated the Italian Clinic,
passed away on September, 3rd, 2007.
Up to date we have no Private Doctor available in Vava'u.

Pharmacy
Opposite the Ministry of Tourism (formerly the Tongan Visitors Bureau) we now have a little well equipped pharmacy.

Unfortunately we have no longer a vet here..
